Fresh Squeezed: Take

Take has been grinding away producing music for the last ten years, and last week he released his most complete effort to date. Only Mountain is filled with otherworldly astro-hop. He is based in LA, but his music really transcends region and genre. If you are looking for something to bounce in the heat that should be arriving soon, or even relax to on a cool spring night this album will fill a room.

Listening through the entire album my favorite track has to be "Neon Beams" it's cosmic-thump still has me moving. I had felt for a while that electronic music had been fading, but with this release and others coming this spring electronic music is rushing back to the forefront. Alpha Pup and Take have a classic album on their hands.
