LoveLikeFire is a band that I have been following for quite sometime, and I am happy to announce that Ann Yu and company will be releasing a digital ep called William on Heist Or Hit Records on March 23rd. This is in advance of their new full-length album Tear Ourselves Away coming out later this year.

It is not often that a debut album gets the kind of hype that An Horse's Rearrange Beds is getting. The duo of vocalist/guitarist Kate Cooper and drummer Damon Cox play a modernized version of '90's alt-rock, but it is their melodies and songwriting that have the world going crazy. Mom & Pop Music Co will finally released their album this week.

Released last month Audrye Sessions self-titled debut album feels to me like a guilty pleasure. I saw them open for Wild Sweet Orange last fall and really enjoyed the mixture of electronic and roots rock, but on their debut their sound is so clean and polished that it feels to commercial. Gone is the raw emotion, the trailing ambience that leads from song to song, and of course the Christmas lights that graces the stage. Don't get me wrong, it's a solid album but it's gone from exciting live performance to Dentist Office soundtrack.

April 7th marks the release of Eulogies’ new full-length album, Here Anonymous via LA-based Dangerbird Records. This album is filled with stories about the nature of communication and all that can go wrong. Written during a Fall 2007 U.S. tour with Film School, the songs on Here Anonymous are deceivingly simple. However the best pop songs are never all that complicated.

Temporary Residence Ltd. is set to reissue Fridge's Early Output 1996-1998. Fridge's early releases playfully skated all over the musical map, jumping from bashing lo-fi punk to sublime expanses of downtempo dance with equal enthusiasm. What is most remarkable about Fridge is that they formed at school in Putney, South London, in 1996 and its members went on to play such a major role in electronic music. Most notably Four Tet, Adem and Kieran Hebden's collaborations with jazz legend Steve Reid, but Fridge itself has had an impact as well. Early Output 1996-1998 is a band-curated collection of the most memorable tracks from those wildly prolific early years, including six previously unreleased tracks from that era. Remastered from the original master tapes, the package also includes photos and extensive liner notes from the friends, collaborators, and the band themselves. Out March 24.

What is Sean Bones? He's a New Yorker with a flare for the tropics. He's a plays a vintage from rock ('70's perhaps), but tempers it heavily with Reggae undertones. This is the perfect music for that trip down to the beach. He released a 7" vinyl single for his song "Easy Street" over the summer.

The Boy Least Likely To are releasing their sophomore album, The Law of the Playground on April 14th here in the states on +1 records but it is exclusively available on itunes now if you can't wait. They bring their infectious indie pop back to the masses and it's about time.

Listen To: Saddle Up (mp3)

Philadelphia's Drink Up Buttercup is fun, addictive, and everything you could possibly want in an indie rock band. Their debut album is forthcoming this summer and was produced by Bill Moriarty (Dr. Dog, Man Man). With all of the excitement contained in their recordings it is hard to be that their live show are even more wild, raw, and exciting. Listing mannequin head, sugar packets, opera sounds, and smashcan as instruments this band should not be missed.
