Fresh Squeezed: Monsterism Island

Welsh psych-illustrator Pete Fowler has created world known as Monsterism Island. This world is colorful, wild, and always creatively funny. He is also known for designing the artwork for the Super Furry Animals. There are also connections to the world of music littered throughout his animated shorts. It was only natural that some of the most talented musician would step up to create a soundtrack for Monsterism Island.

A Psychedelic Guide To Monsterism Island features Gruff Rhys (Super Furry Animals), Jerry Dammers, The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain (Peter Brooke-Turner), The Future Sound of London (Brian Dougans, Gary Cobain), Luke Vibert, Circulus, The Advisory Circle and Wolf People to name but a few. In total this is an album of 27tracks ranging from monstrous rock to jittery electronica via psychedelic folk and frightening krautrock.
