Fresh Squeezed: Magic Wands

Next month the mysterious duo of Chris and Dexy (aka Magic Wands) will return with a brand ep called Magic, Love and Dreams. The ep was recorded with John Hill (Santogold, Lykke Li, Nas), and will be released through Bright Antenna (US, Japan) and Young and Lost Club (UK). After spending the last six months touring with bands like Black Kids, The Virgins, The Kills, and CSS, Magic Wands has perfected a sound that is thrillingly unique, but still ride the current trend of the disco ready electro-pop.

Still without a city to call home, they will soon find themselves headlining as opposed to opening if the continue to create music like this. Their sound is sleek, styled, and always smooth. Magic, Love and Dreams EP will be released as Limited Edition 12” Vinyl and digital download on July 6th.
