Fresh Squeezed: Ohbijou

It's not often a band starts as a solo project and grows in to a seven piece band, but that is exactly what happen with Casey Mecija's not so little project. Despite the size of the band they are able to maintain the delicate beauty that Casey had perfected in her bedroom. Enlisting the help of her younger sister, Jenny, and friends Heather Kirby, Anissa Hart, James Bunton, Ryan Carley, and Andrew Kinoshita, Ohbijou has blossomed in to an artistic and sensual collective that released its second album back in June.

The band just released the music video for "New Years" which was created by the incredible art collective Exploding Motor Car. The video brings to life the surreal sounds of the band and adds even more elements of fantasy.
