What to Wear During an Orange Alert was launched in October of 2006 as a place to record random thoughts and interests, and over the last three years it has become a leading source and a prominent resource for all things independent. Primarily the efforts of the site’s creator, Jason Behrends, Orange Alert has featured interviews with over 300 artists, writers, and musicians. Orange Alert Press was created in March of 2008, and released its debut novel in August of 2008.

In January 2009, Orange Alert took the next step in its natural progress by incorporating a storefront, forum, and monthly newsletter. Who knows what the future might bring for Orange Alert, but through it all they have maintained their mission to support the independent arts and to introduce, inform, interact, and instigate ideas.
